Summer Term

Curricular Games Programme: During the Summer Term, boys of any ability and experience have the opportunity to play cricket during their curricular game’s session. Each week will focus on a combination of different themes and utilise a variety of coaching methods and activities to develop the three core areas of cricket; batting, bowling, and fielding (including wicketkeeping). Boys will be grouped so they are challenged at an appropriate level and maximise their potential.

Outdoor Training Programme: During the Summer Term, each age-group have a dedicated training night which is open to boys of all abilities and experiences. These sessions are designed and delivered around the needs of individuals and the team, whilst matches provide an opportunity for boys to express themselves and demonstrate their skills and abilities in a competitive environment.

Autumn & Spring Terms

U12, U13 & U14: Boys who are not part of the Junior Development Programme, and are not involved within the County Cricket (e.g. Bucks Junior Cricket) system are able to access coaching delivered by Future Legends.

As these sessions fall out of the Summer Term, we will ask for a small payment to cover the cost of an external coach. Places are limited, so parents will need to complete an application form to express their interest, after which boys will be selected at random.

U15, U16, U17 & U18: Boys in these age-groups are invited to train between 7.00am and 8.30am on Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings. It is expected that boys who are able to attend, do so throughout the year.

Junior & Senior Development Programmes

Following a number of highly challenging and competitive trials, the Development Programmes aim to identify boys who are believed to have the potential to become future Senior, ECB pathway, and First-Class players. Each programme is limited to 20 places for boys in Years 8 and 9 (Junior Development Programme) and for those in Years 10, 11, 12, and 13 (Senior Development Programme). The programmes offer additional high-level coaching opportunities, and are designed as an enhanced addition to a player’s age-group training.

If you feel that the cost is prohibitive, please feel free to contact me in the strictest confidence, as there may be funding available.

Membership is further enhanced through the use of the TeamBuildr App which allows members to remotely access their goals, track progress, know their strength thresholds and interact with teammates. videos and leaderboard, as well as allowing better coach- athlete feedback.

If you attend scheduled Gym sessions for a core sport – cricket, hockey, rowing or rugby – then you are not required to purchase a Gym membership. If you wish to use the Gym anytime outside those scheduled sessions, you will be required to purchase a Gym membership.
